Tolulope Makinwa is a multiple award winning social entrepreneur and execution lead at TMI for AFRICANS, a community devoted to promoting lifelong learning and development capacities for young people where she oversees learning communities in the 7 African countries whereTMI for AFRICANS is present. She runs a personal development hub for young women professionals of African descent seeking to transit within sectors under the Tolu Makinwa Experience™.
She has garnered professional experiences across sectors in Nigeria and has worked with female C-suite executives to build a personal brand identity. Tolulope is a Passionate Nation builder who
believes in an open governance culture that includes young people in policy formulations and national decision making processes. She is currently a student at the School of Politics, Policy and Governance,
Nigeria; a recipient of the FIU-MBA Scholarship Turkey; a WIMBIZ mentee; a Peace Rebel at World Peace Initiative,Thailand; a Nigerian Delegate at the President Paul Kagame Youth Connekt Africa, Rwanda; and a Member of the United People Global, Geneva, Switzerland.
Tolulope moderates local and global panel discussions and has been featured on Cameroon Radio TV, TVC News Nigeria, TEDx, The Punch, among others for her contribution to advancing youth inclusion
in nation-building, women and girls rights and also for her brilliant commentaries on social issues.
Tolulope sits on the Board of several NGOs as a non-executive member where she serves as a strategic lead.
She designs informal economic empowerment schemes for women and has worked with the state government in fostering this agenda.
